🚂 4-Day Ha Giang Loop Journey – A Dream Amidst the Great Mountains
🌍 We – Anala and Hugo, a couple from Germany, embarked on our dream journey from Hanoi to Ha Giang on the Cung Dien sleeper bus – a luxurious ride, shimmering with lights like a miniature palace.✨
🚆 Journey from Hanoi to Ha Giang
⏰ 8:00 AM, we boarded the bus with excitement. Anala sat by the window, her eyes sparkling as the city of Hanoi slowly faded into the distance.
“This bus is amazing, isn’t it, Hugo?” – Anala whispered, resting her head against the window, admiring the lush green fields passing by.
“Yes, it feels like we’re traveling into another world…” – Hugo replied, holding Anala’s hand tightly.
🚍 3:00 PM, Ha Giang appeared in the gentle afternoon light. Our first stop was Time Travel Homestay. 🚪
🧑🤝🧑 Time, the host, greeted us with a warm smile:
“Welcome to Ha Giang, my friends!”
🌿 Time poured us cups of steaming Shan Tuyet tea, its delicate aroma filling the air:
“Have a sip and feel the essence of Ha Giang’s mountains!”
🌄 Afternoon Before the Journey Begins
🌿 In the afternoon, Time took us to Ha Giang market, a vibrant place full of colors. 🍊🥩🥬 Anala eagerly learned how to pick fresh green Meo cabbage, while Hugo sampled black pork meat. 🥘
🌙 Evening Activities:
- 🍲 Cooking together, Anala learned to make banh cuon 🫔, while Hugo watched over the boiling corn wine 🍶.
- 🍽️ Enjoying dinner together in a cozy atmosphere, raising glasses of corn wine to toast our upcoming journey.
🎨 After dinner, we painted the German flag 🇩🇪 on the Time Travel Homestay wall, leaving our mark there.
🚶♂️ Strolling around the Walking Street at 26/3 Square: The shimmering lights reflected on the Lo River 🌊, and Ha Giang folk songs filled the air. 🎶
❤️ Hugo whispered: “Ich liebe das…” (I love this…)
🏍️ Day 1: Ha Giang – Tam Son (75km)
Early morning, the motorbikes were ready! 🏍️ Time handed us protective gear and gave careful instructions:
“Safety first!”
🌳 Tha Village – Traditional stilt houses nestled under green palm trees:
“This place looks like something out of a fairy tale!” – Anala marveled.
🌿 Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate – We stood in awe before the endless green valley.
“This is where love for Ha Giang begins…” – Time smiled.
🏯 Day 2: Tam Son – Lung Cu – Dong Van (135km)
🛤️ Winding mountain roads, Anala let out excited shouts with each thrilling turn. 🎢
🏯 Hmong King’s Palace 🏰 – Listening to Time’s stories about the Vuong family.
“The people here are very proud of their history.” – Time said.
🚩 Lung Cu Flag Tower 🇻🇳 – The wind tousled our hair as Hugo held Anala’s hand:
“We’ve come so far… From Germany to the northernmost point of Vietnam!”
🏔️ Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Du Gia (90km)
🏞️ Ma Pi Leng Pass – The most breathtaking mountain pass in Vietnam! 🏔️
🚣 Nho Que River – Hugo eagerly rowed a boat on the emerald waters. 🌊
“This moment… I want to keep it forever.” – Anala whispered.
🌿 Du Gia – Ethnic children ran out to greet us, and Hugo jumped into the stream with them, laughter echoing in the air. 😆💦
🌄 Day 4: Du Gia – Ha Giang (120km)
🍯 Du Gia Market – Time bought us wild honey as a keepsake. 🐝
“Whenever you taste this honey, remember Ha Giang!”
☕ Nui Cam Coffee – Watching the whole city from above in the sunset glow. 🌅
“Hugo, do you think we’ll ever come back here?” – Anala asked. “Absolutely. Ha Giang has become a part of our love story.” – Hugo smiled.
🌞 Late afternoon, we hugged Time goodbye. The sun slowly set over the Lo River, but the memories of this journey would last forever. ❤️
“Ha Giang will always be waiting for you…” – Time waved.
✨ The journey ended, but the dream amidst the great mountains continues to beat in our hearts. 💖
