Travel Volunteer
Are you an English speaker that is passionate about teaching and giving back to local communities? Do you long to experience new cultures and make international friends? Do you want to develop soft skills and practical skills? If the answer is “yes”, then you can volunteer in our community as a teacher and/or help with a variety of other projects.
We will introduce you to the opportunities and challenges of volunteering, as well as the skills needed to carry out the roles effectively. Hopefully the following will inspire you to volunteer with our community and give you all the information needed to do so.
Who are our volunteers:
Our volunteers are people from both Vietnam and around the world with intermediate to fluent level English. They use their English-speaking skills to enrich our community through English teaching and cultural exchange. Our volunteers can work in many different fields, including education, health, society, culture, environment, and many others.
Some examples of volunteer activities:

- Teaching English to poor children, people with disabilities and ethnic minorities.
- Support non-governmental, international, or community organizations in interpretation, translation, communication, and management.
- Participate in social and environmental projects, such as building houses for the poor, planting trees, protecting wildlife, and organizing cultural events.
- Exchange with international volunteers, learn and share experiences, knowledge, and cultures of different countries.
Participate in cultural projects such as helping with the production of tea and other agricultural products, making handmade paper, and learning to make traditional fabrics and dyes such as brocade and Melaleuca.

Improving your English skills
Volunteering for us will give you the chance to use English in a variety of situations, from professional to the everyday. This will help you improve your ability to listen, speak, read, and write English, expand your vocabulary and professional knowledge. You will have the opportunity to interact with many different English speakers, from native to foreign, and learn their pronunciation, grammar, and expressions.
Developing soft skills
When you become a volunteer, you will face many challenges and problems, such as adapting to new environments, working with different people, resolving conflicts, showing responsibility, and more. This will help you develop important soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, leadership, creativity, problem solving and confidence.
